O.K. where did I leave off?

So, I'm a happy camper now; I have air conditioning and a new camera.

It's been 5 games since I last posted. Three games at home and two away. The Bucks shutout the RGV Killer Bees on Tues. Nov. 27th with a score of 5-0. It was during this game that Steve Simoes' nose was broken. It seemed intentional. He's had surgery since and continues to play with protective gear. That kid is a true warrior, I tell you.

The Bucks traveled to Hidalgo on Fri. Nov. 30th and beat the Bees 2-1. The following night, Sat. Dec. 1st, the Corpus Christi Rayz beat the Bucks at home 3 to 2. This does not happen often, but the Bucks slacked off in the third period and took some bad penalties which opened the door for the Rayz to capitalize.

Sunday, Dec. 2nd, the Odessa Jackalopes came to town and put up a pretty good match for our boys. The game turned into an overtime winner for the Bucks with a score of 2-1.

Last night, the Bucks faced the Texas Brahmas away for the first time since Feb. 2006. A shootout gave the win to the Brahmas. And tonight the Bucks are visiting at the home of the Corpus Christi Rayz. Tomorrow will be the second Sunday afternoon game at home in as many Sundays. The third game in a row for the Bucks this weekend.

It is very fair to say, as Coach Rosco's own words will reiterate, the power play and penalty kill have to improve. The Bucks are in dire need of a week's worth of practice, a luxury not afforded to them. Rest assured that this glitch will not last long with this team. They will work hard to correct this. It's only a matter of time. In the meantime, the Laredo Bucks boast the most points in the league. Not too shabby, eh? Didn't I tell you that they are a great team? Thought so.

Here are some photos of the last 3 home games. The ones against the Bees were from my broken camera. The ones with the Rayz and Jacks are from my new camera. Yeah, yeah, I know, I need alot of practice. I'll get there, give me some time.
